Susanne Schumacher nimmt als Bildende Künstlerin zusmmen mit weiteren Künstlerinnen der GEDOK Niedersachsen und Hannover, Regionalgruppen Nord an der Ausstellung Licht im Kloster Mariensee teil. Vernissage war am 4.4.2010. Ort: Kloster Mariensee, Höltystr. 1, 31535 Neustadt. In dieser Ausstellung geht es darum, die vielseitigen Funktionen des Lichts anschaulich zu machen. Alle Techniken sind repräsentiert, sie passen sich den räumlichen und spirituellen Gegebenheiten des Klosters Mariensee an. Einführung: Heralde Schmitt-Ulms, GEDOK Niedersachsen e.V.. Dauer der Ausstellung: 5. April – 10. Oktober 2010. Am 28. Mai fand eine Führung und Vortrag durch die Ausstellung statt, an der die Künstlerinnen sich den Fragen der Besucher stellten.

The new project about light
Introduction:
light is one of the oldest and largest research subjects, the highest source of inspiration in painting, photography, literature and poetry and serving as a metaphor. When it comes to soul area, and the way is the knowledge, light can metaphorically about moods and states of mind aussagen.

Im Christentum steht das Licht in der Selbstbezeichnung Jesu Christi für die Erlösung des Menschen. Mythen aller Kulturen are rich in stories about the light.
